Atlanta Regional Commission’s 2026 State of the Region

Join regional leaders to assess where the Atlanta region is today and explore the key challenges and opportunities facing our region.

Join top leaders and decision-makers from across metro Atlanta at the 2026 State of the Region, which takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

This year’s event will explore the region’s biggest challenges through our theme, “Opportunity Rising.” We’ll focus on what the region must do to make sure that all of us in metro Atlanta has the opportunity to succeed.

This year’s program will include the  State of the Region address  from ARC Executive Director & CEO Anna Roach, results of the 2026 Metro Atlanta Speaks survey, and two “What’s Next ATL” talks that focus attention on the biggest issues facing our region.

The event will also feature the Regional Excellence Awards, which celebrate innovative and impactful developments, places, and plans, along with the Harry West Visionary Leadership Award  which recognizes outstanding community service and leadership.
