Brandon Beach
Executive Director 

Brandon Beach was named Executive Director of True North 400, formerly North Fulton CID, in January 2018. Previously, he was President & CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Under his leadership, the True North 400 has invested more than $25 million to help bring more than $170 million in new infrastructure for the District area. Beach was also elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2013. He represents District 21, which includes portions of Cherokee and Fulton counties.

Senator Beach is the Chairman of the Transportation Committee. He is also a member of the Economic Development, Higher Education and Science and Technology committees. Senator Beach served as the Chairman of the Public Private Partnership Committee (P3 Committee). Under his leadership, the P3 Committee was able to acquire key local transportation projects approved for Cherokee and North Fulton. In 2001, Governor Sonny Perdue appointed Sen. Beach to the board of Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA). In 2008, he was selected to chair one of GRTA’s most important committees — The Land Development Committee. In this role, Sen. Beach is responsible for leading a review of every significant development brought before the 16-county area that GRTA serves. Sen. Beach was elected to the Board of the GDOT by state legislators from the 6th Congressional District in 2008. Senator Beach is a member of numerous community boards including the Regional Business Coalition, Grady Hospital Board of Visitors, the Greater Metro Atlanta American Heart Association, the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, Encore Park and the Historic Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Senator Beach received an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Centenary College. He is also a graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute and a former member of the Alpharetta City Council and the Alpharetta Planning and Zoning Commission. He and his wife, Shuntel, have two children and have lived in Alpharetta for the past 24 years.

Kristin Rome Winzeler
Deputy Executive Director

Kristin Rome Winzeler is the Deputy Executive Director for True North 400. Ms. Winzeler manages the daily operations, projects and consulting team of True North 400. She has been with the CID since starting as a Project Assistant in 2012.
Prior to joining True North 400, Ms. Winzeler received a dual master’s degree in public administration and business administration from Kennesaw State University. Her graduate work has been published in Public Performance & Management Review. She has also served as an intern for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia and the Arthritis Foundation Southeast Region, both in Atlanta.

Ms. Winzeler is a graduate of several leadership programs, including the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership North Fulton. She has been a member of Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) since 2013 and currently serves as the President of the Atlanta chapter. Ms. Winzeler also serves as a board member of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Chamber’s JenLan Rising Star Award in 2018. She was also named one of Engineering Georgia Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Transportation in 2020, 2021 and 2022. In her spare time, Ms. Winzeler is involved with the Boy Scouts of America as an advisor for the Venture Crew youth development program. She lives in Woodstock, Georgia with her husband and three daughters.

Alex Battle
Program Coordinator

Alex Battle has been with True North 400, formerly North Fulton CID, since January 2020. Prior to joining the CID, Battle worked in Government Affairs for Jay Sekulow and the American Center for Law & Justice in Washington, D.C.


As Program Coordinator, Alex provides outreach to current and prospective True North 400 members, handles External Affairs, and works with the Board of Directors to execute the CID’s mission and vision. He is passionate about expanding True North 400 to grow the boundaries and revenue of the district.


Battle is very involved with the community professionally and civically. He is a graduate of Leadership North Fulton (LNF) through the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and serves as an Ambassador. In addition to being an alumnus of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) Regional Leadership Institute (RLI), he also serves on the Board of Directors for the Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) at the Council for Quality Growth.


Battle earned his BBA from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. In addition to his work and volunteering, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
