The City of Alpharetta’s Alpha Loop multi-use path system is designed to connect Downtown Alpharetta, Avalon and the Northwinds/North Point Activity Center. True North 400 authorized $250,000 in design funding for the portion of the Alpha Loop between Northwinds Parkway and Old Milton Parkway. Additionally, True North 400 partnered with the City of Alpharetta to construct a portion of the Alpha Loop along Northwinds Parkway, south of Old Milton Parkway and adjacent to Gwinnett Technical College.

The three-mile inner loop is expected to include a 12’ to 16’ multi-use path, bicycle services areas and seating areas as the trail improves mobility, spurs economic development and elevates quality of life in Alpharetta. More information on the Alpha Loop can be found on the City of Alpharetta website. This piece of the Alpha Loop is currently under construction.
