The three-mile inner loop is expected to include a 12’ to 16’ multi-use path, bicycle services areas and seating areas as the trail improves mobility, spurs economic development and elevates quality of life in Alpharetta. The City of Alpharetta’s Alpha Loop multi-use path system is designed to connect Downtown Alpharetta, Avalon and the Northwinds/North Point Activity Center. True North 400 authorized $250,000 in design funding for the portion of the Alpha Loop between Northwinds Parkway and Old Milton Parkway. Additionally, True North 400 partnered with the City of Alpharetta to construct a portion of the Alpha Loop along Northwinds Parkway, south of Old Milton Parkway and adjacent to Gwinnett Technical College.
