The Mansell Road Triple Left Turn Lane Project created a triple left turn lane from eastbound Mansell Road onto northbound North Point Parkway. This project was designed to improve traffic flow in the North Point Mall area, reducing traffic backups and bottlenecks that affect Mansell Road, North Point Parkway, and Georgia 400 daily.
The project is located at the intersection of Mansell Road and North Point Parkway, just east of Georgia 400. The triple left turn lane replaced the existing double left turn lane on Mansell Road east bound.
Financial commitment
True North 400 was able to obtain funding from the State Road and Tollway Authority for construction. The CID funded $500,000 toward this project for design and construction management.
