Windward Parkway Right Turn Lane at GA 400 Off-Ramp

This project added a right-turn lane along Windward Parkway, from the northbound Georgia 400 offramp, and a continuous right turn lane to North Point Parkway. Prior to this improvement, northbound congestion at the Windward Parkway and Georgia 400 interchange was notorious, with more than 168,000 cars passing through the interchange each day. The additional turn lane reduced stacking on the GA 400 offramp and improved traffic operations along GA 400 and Windward Parkway. A triple left turn lane was constructed as a second phase of the Windward Parkway project.
